Youtube has become the biggest video site in the world. You can look up anything on Youtube! Including Book Reviews! I have been following these book reviewers for a year now and love I them!!!!!! Not only do they do good book reviews, they also do book hauls. Book hauls are books they order or get as a gift  and unbox them. Sometimes they will forget what books they get in the mail. I go to the library twice a week and everyday for the summer. I have to be surrounded with books or else i'll go crazy. If you don't even like looking at books you can not talk to me! Being surrounded by books is like living in another world! Without books most of our information wouldn't be known! 

I got my love of books when my mom read to me while I was in her tummy. Then growing up my mom or my grandma would read to me. I wasn't really that interested in books until I wanted to prove that I was smart like everyone else. I collected books but I didn't really know how to read them. For some reason I just needed the books to be around me.

If you are a true bookworm, then you will understand this quote. Books are everything to me. It gets me out of reality and into a fantasy to get away from the rest of the world.  If I'm having a bad day I'll read the Raven by Edgar Allan Poe. When it's a good day I'll finish up on the Night World #3 series. Books aren't just about getting away from reality, its also emotional.  As I grow up I don't really have that much time to read, because of school and activities outside of school. So instead of reading I collect books. In my collection I still need to read 135 books. This year my English class was doing Unplug for 24 hours. You could not use any electric  devices for 24 hours over the weekend. I didn't have anything to do so I read all of the Harry Potter series. After that I thought I wouldn't  want to read anymore. The next day I went to the book store.

Where to Get Free E-Books Online! (for Kindle Users)

Me and my Kindle are best friends when I'm to lazy to hold a huge chapter book. I first got my Kindle for Christmas three years ago. I love it! However, When trying to find a cheap book to read was not so easy. I will only pay for a book up to five dollars.  (Yes I'm that cheap)

Amazon is the home of the Kindle! Amazon is in between expensive  and cheap. Yet you have to search for the right book. I only get the free paranormal romance books off of Amazon, but you can also get other book for free. Just type in the word "free" and the genre you are looking for.

BookBub is my personal favorite website to get free or 99 cent books. However, you will not find a new book that just came out for free. Most of the e-books are for everyone. They have children, young adult and adult books. BookBub saves you a lot more money for your wallet, but its hard to find a book you want. Everyday they will have new books.

Not Worth Reading!

Over the years I couldn't and will not finish this book!

1.Twilight:
My friends and family have read the book before me. When I saw the first movie I thought it was okay. So I decided to read the book. I could not get passed the first page. I'm sorry to all the twilihard fans out there, but the book wasn't for me. Maybe it was the movie that spoiled it for me. Don't get me wrong I love a good paranormal romace. Yet a word of advice: don't watch a movie before reading the book!

2.The City of Bones:

This book had a really strong beginning. Yet the middle is where I stopped reading.   

New Book!

The new book "The Here and Now" by Ann Brashares is good! If you love romance and a good thriller this is a book for you! The here and now is about a girl named Prenna James. Prenna has always wanted to live in New York since she was tweleve. However she came from a different time. Where a mosquito-borne illness is killing millions, and leaving the rest of the world in ruins. Prenna and some others have escaped to the present day to get away from the illness. However, they must follow some rules: 1. Never reveal where  you come from, 2. never interfere  with history, 3. never ever fall in love with someone from the present day. Prenna does as she is told. Yet that all change when she meets Ethan Jarves.

Top three books I Love to Read!

1.The Hollow:
One of my favorite books to read over and over again is "The Hollow" by Jessica Verday. The Hollow is about a teen Girl named Abby who has lost her best friend Kristen. After the Funeral she meets a gorgeous boy named Caspien. She starts to fall in love with him, but what she doesnt know is Caspien is keeping a dark secret. As Abby is dealing with Caspien, she wants to know what happened to Kristen. Was Kristen's death an accident. Or was Abby the person to die?

2.But I Love Him:

But I Love Him is by Amanda Grace. In the book Ann is living with her abusive  boyfriend Connor. One day they have a terrible fight and Ann is left in her bedroom scared to death. She starts to remember the good memories her and Connor used to share. Not only that, but she wants to be back at home with her mom. Yet she knows it will hurt Connor. As Ann is struggling, Connor starts to act just like his father. He was raised watching his mom get abused by his father. Can Ann try to stop Connor from making their relationship more worse then it is?

3.Wake (Dream Catcher Trilogy):

Even though this is number three, author Lisa McMann did an amazing job with this trilogy! When I read the first book in the series I usually can't read the other two or three books. However I loved this trilogy so much I read all three of the books in one day! The book follows a girl named Janie who gets sucked into other peoples dreams. Not only is it a pain, she can't control it. As Janie is dealing with other peoples dreams she also has to take care of her alcoholic mother too. Her best friend Carrie has always had Janie's back and will do anything to help. Yet Janie doesn't want Carrie or anyone else finding out about her ability. Until she meets Cabel Strumheller. As she is figuring out why and how this is happening to her, Cabel is Keeping a big secert as will.

Bookworm: A person devoted to reading. My name is Alexis Hall and I go to Diamond Oaks Vocational  School for Digital Arts and Design. Bookworm Delight YA  (young adult) is about information for new or old young adult books. This will be about new books that will or have been released and book reviews. However my favorite topic will be "not worth reading". Which means book I could not finnish or started reading. I will also share links to where you can get the books for cheap. For 6 years now (I'm 18) I have been collecting young adult books. As a book lover my favorite genres are paranormal, romantic, horror, and some non-fiction.  My favorite book I have is Edgar Allan Poe’s Collection of stories and poems. When I was little I didn’t really like to read as much. Turns out I didn’t know how to read and speak. So my mom signed me up for a program to help me. After learning I started to like books.  In first grade my first chapter book was “Welcome to Dead House” by R.L. Stine.   However it the cover was destroyed. I am not a fan of books that have been neglected over the years, unless it’s a really old book!
